Private Page for Peter and Janet’s Team of Supporters
We would like to make available a few resources here for you, including this year’s slideshow of our trip to Europe. Peter’s email updates from this trip (which we will now call blogs), and Janet’s resources.
Please check out our website! The links are in the bar above.
IFES EUROPE 2023
Peter has compiled his emails from the trip. He includes our schedule, stories about the students, and some additional addendums on the talks themselves. but watch here for links to this year’s talks.
The slideshow has one slide for each city with photos and titles of the talks.
Any problems viewing them, please tell Janet. janet@crediblechristianity.org
ADDITIONAL RESOURCES
Sometimes we prefer not to have our material online due to sensitive subject matter. “The Qur’an and the Bible” is one of those. (Please do not post. It is Peter’s version - longer than just a talk.) Also here, “How Did We Get the Bible.” This is new and includes a Zoom audio. (Sorry for the long introduction on the audio.)
JANET’S RESOURCES
Janet is in the middle of discussions with two European leaders writing international student ministry Bible studies. She is passionate about Bible studies that ask deep questions in accessible language. She would love to see more national European IFES movements writing studies in their own languages because international students commonly study in English rather than the national language. For her part, Janet has written two Bible workbooks on the Gospel of Luke for international students and spouses. These are being edited right now. (It is 20 years old!) On this page, she shares some materials from her workshops for English Teacher Training in an EU Exchange program (Erasmus) in Slovakia. She also has an outreach lunch talk in Copenhagen for students on personal growth and a slideshow on international student fellowship groups for a workshop in Germany. (The personal growth talk is usually followed up with comments about Jesus depending on which country and what they request.)
